Delta Reign: release date, Mega Rayquaza ex and Legendary Stadiums

The next expansion of the Mega Evolution era, Delta Reign, is out on Friday 6 November 2026. Prerelease events run from 24 October to 1 November, so if you want an early look, now’s the time to find one near you. Here’s what we know.

Mega Rayquaza ex leads

Mega Rayquaza ex is the face of the set, back in the TCG as a Mega for the first time since the XY era. It’s joined by three more Mega Evolution Pokémon ex:

• Mega Rayquaza ex
• Mega Golurk ex
• Mega Malamar ex
• Mega Golisopod ex

Six more Pokémon ex round out the line-up. If Mega ex are new to you, our guide to how Mega Pokémon ex work covers the rules, including the three Prize cards they give up.

Legendary Stadiums

Delta Reign introduces a new kind of card. Six Stadium cards make up three Legendary Stadiums: Legendary Summit, Legendary Ocean Trench and Legendary Lava Lake. Each Legendary Stadium is split across two cards, and you play the two halves together, side by side, as one extended piece of artwork. A booster pack with a Legendary Stadium in it has both halves, so you’ll never pull half a picture.

How big is it?

Delta Reign has more than 135 cards, with 14 illustration rares, 17 Ultra Rares and 6 special illustration rares among the secret rares. Booster packs have ten cards, and the set comes in the usual line-up: booster displays, Elite Trainer Boxes, booster bundles, a Build & Battle Box and blisters.

Getting Delta Reign singles

Singles from Delta Reign will appear on the Delta Reign page once the set is out, so it’s worth bookmarking. If there’s a particular card you’re after, send us a request and we’ll keep an eye out for it.

In the meantime, catch up on the sets that came before: our guides to Pitch Black, 30th Celebration and Chaos Rising cover the chase cards and the illustration rares worth finding.
