Perfect Order: Mega Zygarde ex and the cards to look for
Perfect Order, the third Mega Evolution expansion, brought four new Mega ex led by Mega Zygarde ex. Here are the chase cards, the illustration rares worth a binder page, and what’s in stock.
Perfect Order arrived on 27 March 2026 as the third main expansion of the Mega Evolution era. It’s a compact set, 88 cards before the secret rares, so the main set is quick to complete, at least until you get to the gold.
The Mega ex
Four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex lead the set:
- Mega Zygarde ex, the headline card, with the set’s only Mega Hyper Rare.
- Mega Clefable ex
- Mega Starmie ex
- Mega Skarmory ex
Each appears as a Double Rare, and most again in full-art and special illustration versions. Like every Mega ex, they’re worth three Prize cards when they’re Knocked Out.
The chase cards
At the top is the gold Mega Zygarde ex Mega Hyper Rare. Behind it come the special illustration rares: Mega Zygarde ex, Mega Clefable ex, Mega Starmie ex and Meowth ex, plus two Supporters, Rosa’s Encouragement and Jacinthe. The full-art Ultra Rares are a more affordable way into the set’s big Pokémon:
Illustration rares worth a binder page
Perfect Order’s illustration rares are some of the most charming of the year. Clefairy, Dedenne and Espurr are the ones collectors talk about most, but the whole run is strong. These are in stock:
Full-art Trainers
Two Trainer cards get the full-art treatment too, and both look great sleeved in a deck:
Building the set
If you’re collecting Perfect Order, start with the main set and the illustration rares, then pick off the Ultra Rares one at a time. Singles are usually far cheaper than opening packs until you find them. Our guide to rarity symbols explains what each star means, and the Perfect Order page lets you filter the whole set by rarity, type and price.
